Refund Policy

Last updated: February 20, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all custom software development services provided by Ankit Bhardwaj on a monthly subscription basis. By subscribing to any plan, you agree to the terms outlined below. We aim to be fair and transparent — please read this policy carefully before starting a project.

2. How Payments Work

All subscriptions operate as follows:

  • The first month is paid upfront before development begins.
  • The subscription clock starts from the date the software is delivered, not during development.
  • Subsequent months are billed in advance on a rolling monthly basis.
  • The monthly price is fixed for the initial 12-month term.

3. First Month Payment (Pre-Development)

The first month's payment is non-refundable once development has started. This covers the time spent on:

  • Requirement analysis and project scoping
  • Architecture and database design
  • Development environment setup
  • Initial development work

Exception: If you cancel within 48 hours of making the first payment and no development work has commenced, a full refund will be issued.

4. Monthly Subscription Payments

Monthly payments are non-refundable once the billing period has begun. This is because:

  • Hosting, uptime management, and infrastructure costs are committed in advance.
  • Bug fixes and support are available throughout the billing period.
  • Development resources are allocated based on active subscriptions.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged for the following month.

5. Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us via WhatsApp or email. Upon cancellation:

  • Your access to hosting and bug-fix support continues until the end of the paid period.
  • No further payments will be charged after cancellation.
  • Source code is transferred to you only if the 1-year ownership term has been completed or a buyout has been agreed.
  • If you cancel before 1 year, source code remains proprietary until the buyout price is settled.

6. Refunds for Service Failures

A partial or full refund may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • The software was not delivered within a reasonable timeframe with no communication.
  • The delivered software does not match the agreed scope and the issue cannot be resolved within 30 days.
  • Prolonged downtime (more than 72 hours) due to infrastructure failures on our end, without resolution.

Refund requests under this clause must be submitted within 14 days of the issue arising. Each case will be reviewed individually and resolved in good faith.

7. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after development has started.
  • Delays caused by late or incomplete content, feedback, or approvals from your side.
  • Requests for features outside the originally agreed scope.
  • Dissatisfaction with technology choices agreed upon at project start.
  • Business decisions that result in the project no longer being needed.

8. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or discuss a billing issue, contact us through any of the following:

Email: [email protected]

WhatsApp: +91-6239618150

Please include your project name, the payment date, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 48 hours.

9. Dispute Resolution

We strongly prefer resolving any issues through direct communication before escalating to formal disputes. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in Chandigarh, Punjab. For international clients, we will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes according to the applicable laws of your jurisdiction.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
